Popular Nigerian musician, Ayra Starr has revealed that her Maths teacher inspired her music journey and also predicted she will be signed to Mavin.
She mentioned that he predicted that Mavin would sign her; she was just 14 years old at the time.

Ayra revealed that she had gone to a very religious school even though she didn't come from a religious family.
She mentioned how some teachers would come at her because she stood out too much and even recounted the one time she painted her nail pink and had been punished for it.
She was then asked if she kept in touch with any of the teachers from school and she mentioned the teacher who inspired her
She said he was a Muslim but anytime he heard her singing he would tell her to go join the choir in church and learn how to sing more.
She said he then predicted that Mavin Records will sign her and she is currently signed to Don Jazzy's Mavin Records.
