Speaking at Waterbrook Church, Banky Wellington finally opened up about his defeat in the elections which were conducted recently.

Banky Wellington popularly known as Banky W is a Nigerian actor married to Adesuwa Etomi. He contested in the recently concluded elections for a post in the house of representatives for the People's Democratic Party (PDP). In the 2023 general elections which held on the 25th of February, Banky contested for the seat of Eti-Osa federal constituency in the House of Representatives.

Banky W later lost to Thaddeus Attah of the Labour Party (LP).

While speaking at Waterbrook, Banky said as of a few weeks ago, the plan was to be that day for their thanksgiving service. It would have been a day to give thanks regarding the elections.

In the video he mentioned he was going to give a short charge about what God has done. He wanted to use his testimony to uplift and encourage others and they would have spent time praying.
He mentioned how people's faith in God may not stop one from hurting but its definite to help you heal from that hurt and deal with it. It helps to overcome it.

As part of his charge, he mentioned that praise can be born out of pain or confusion.
He concluded by saying that that day was to be their thanksgiving service but regardless of what happened, irrespective of his loss, it would still be a thanksgiving service.

Banky lost the election and now he is doing Shalaye FC, well there will be a 3rd terms sha. The former Afrobeat singer is getting hold though and he will need to just try again. The Labour Party people messed him up.
