Portuguese duo, Joao Cancelo and Joao Felix may stay at Barcelona beyond this season following their stellar start to life with the Catalans.
Joao Cancelo joined Barcelona on a loan move from Manchester City after he fell down the pecking order at Etihad under Pep Guardiola.
Joao Cancelo was previously loaned to Bayern Munich last summer with no buy option. He was back to Manchester City at the end of last season but was still out of Pep Guardiola's squad plan.
Barcelona snapped Cancelo from Manchester City on another loan move with no buy option at the death. He was expected back to Manchester City when this current loan tenure expire at the end of the season.
However, the Portuguese could now be looking forward to life with the Catalans beyond this season.
His compatriot and Atletico Madrid attacking midfielder Joao Felix also joined Barcelona on a season-long loan deal with no buy option in the summer.
Joao Cancelo has made 10 La Liga appearances Barcelona and has scored 2 goals with an assist. He has played the club's all four Champions Leagues matches.
Joao Felix is also on a mercurial run with the Catalans. He has played 10 La Liga games with a goal and an assist. Felix has played all four Champions League for Barcelona, scoring two goals with an assist.
The two players have lit Barcelona squad with their experience and have cemented their place into Xavi Hernandez's squad.
Barcelona Director, Deco, has revealed the club will not hesitate to keep Joao Felix and Joao Cancelo should they continue in their prolific form for the club.
In a quote shared by Fabrizio Romano, Deco said;.
"No doubt we want to keep Joao Felix and Joao Cancelo also next season and also for the future.
"They are key players for us and they are happy here. It is still early but we are still thinking about the negotiation and are happy with both of them."
