Thomas Tuchel may soon lose his job as Bayern Munich manager to former Man United manager Ole Gunnar Solskaer.

According to reports from German media, Ole Gunnar Solskaer has been identified by Bayern Munich hierarchy as a potential replacement for Tuchel.

There is an air of uncertainty surrounding the future of Thomas Tuchel at Bayern Munich after the club suffered back-to-back-to-back defeats this season.

Trailing Bayer Leverkusen by two points before the top-of-the-table clash against the Black and Reds at the BayArena, the Bavarians stumbled to a shock 3-0 loss, to fall back five points behind the Xabi Alonso-led side.

At Vonovia Vurhstadion, Tuchel was expected to atone for the loss to Leverkusen by comfortably dispatching lowly-rated Bochum but it ended in another nightmare as they fell again to their second consecutive Bundesliga defeat losing 3-2.

Meanwhile, in between the loss to Bayer Leverkusen and Bochum, they were thumped 1-0 at the Stadio Olimpico by Lazio in their Champions League round 16 first leg.

Pressure has tanked up on Thomas Tuchel following the shock relapse that has seen the team fall far from a possible silverware this season.

Thomas Tuchel's Bochum post-match press conference was canceled. And there have been reports club chiefs are discussing his future.

According to renowned journalist Florian Plettenberg, Bayern Munich are eyeing Ole Gunnar Solskaer as a possible replacement if they decide to sack Tuchel.

The report adds an immediate dismissal of Tuchel has been ruled with the club willing to give him more time till the end of the season to prove himself.

Despite the assurances by Bayern Munich hierarchy that Tuchel will be allowed to continue till the end of the season, it is understood the under-pressure gaffer can still be sacked before the end of the season if stats don't improve.

Even if the stats improve, Tuchel is more likely to be sacked if he ends the season without a silverware.
