BBN Chichi sues Phyna for N100 million for defamation
Ex Big Brother Naija housemate Chichi has sued her fellow ex housemate, Phyna for N100 million due to defamation.
Chinenyenwa Desire Okoebor is known popularly as Chichi and she was one of the housemates on the Big Brother Naija level up season 7 show.
Josephina Otabor is known as Phyna and she was the winner of the level up BBN Show last year.
This lawsuit which Chichi brought against Phyna is over alleged defamation of character.
She says that Phyna made some statements during the BBM reunion which aired recently and she claims those statements were defamatory.
Recall Ohyna had accused Chichi of abandoning her husband and children which led to the death of one of her children. This came up during an argument between the both of them on the reunion.
Phyna also shared on social media some other statements about Chichi poisoning a friend of hers.
Chichi then took legal action and sued Phyna for a sum of N100 million.
Her legal team cleared the air of those accusations which Phyna made and told her to retract her statement.
They then told her to publish this retraction on social media and pay N100 m in damages.
Recall earlier this year, picture was going viral on social media about Chichi who was going a child and was with a man who people believed were her husband and children but that was her father's younger brother.
Chichi also denied that she was married during the reunion.
