Hermes revealed it was his father who raised him and his siblings alone. His father, despite raising them alone, had also told them not to hate their mother.

He shared that he would be sad when it was time for the PTA (Parents teachers association) meeting in school and other students would have their mothers present but his was not there. He says he longed for it his entire life. He would think that with the way his mother was so pretty, if she came for PTA, he would have many friends
He says it was not having his mother around that affected him significantly.

He says people would think the way he was looking for his mother when she was missing from the psychiatric center that she was present in his life when she actually wasn't.

He shared that the only reason he still has love to give is because of his dad.
He shared how at some point in the Big Brother House, someone had made a comment which triggered him and he felt attacked. He says the person said men cannot take care of children as much as a woman would but his own Dad had done just that. His father had raised him and Hermes praised him for doing a good job.
