Popular Nigerian musician Adekunle Gold, has revealed that he loves the responsibility of being a father to his daughter, Adejare. He recently shared this saying the reason he works very hard is so that his daughter, Adejare doesn’t have to live the life he lived while he was growing up.
Adekunle Gold is married to another Nigerian singer Simi. The couple got married in January, 2019. They welcomed their daughter, Adejare, in 2020.
He mentioned this recently during an interview with Tayo Aina who is a popular Youtuber. He revealed that he releases multiple singles and projects so as to make enough money to care for his child and cater for her education.
He stated “Being a father is a huge responsibility that I love by the way. Knowing that I have a huge responsibility to raise a queen. You know, my family is my centre. Anywhere they are is my happy place. That is one of the reasons I’m hustling hard. Because this girl, the life that I lived growing up, she can’t do the same. That’s why I’m dropping school fees’ music for you people.”
