Popular Nigerian singer Bella Shmurda has shared the reason why he stopped working at Dangote’s factory. Bella Shmurda is a Nigerian singer and songwriter. His real name is Abiola Ahmed Akinbiyi but he goes by his stage name, Bella Shmurda.
Recall the artist recently welcomed a baby which he shared on his Twitter not too long ago.
He has now narrated a story which was what led to him leaving Dangote’s factory
has recounted a tragedy that occurred while he was working at Dangote’s noodles factory in Lagos. He revealed this during a recent interview with Cool FM Nigeria.
He says that it was the death of one of his colleagues at the factory that led to his decision. He says this person fell from the roof of the company’s building into steaming industrial oil.
He says this was a tragic experience which made him quit immediately.
He shared that he had gone to work that Saturday morning and began work when all of a sudden, people began screaming. He found out someone who was cleaning the roof had fallen into hot oil.
He says this oil was the one used for noodles to make it hard so it can be packed.
He says it took a long time before they were able to bring the guy out of the hot oil and by then he had been fried.
He says he made his decision that day to leave.
