Manchester United left-back, Benjamin Mendy has more rape cases to answer as a new complaint has emerged that he raped a victim in July 2021.
This has increased the number of rape allegations hanging on Benjamin Mendy‘s neck to seven in total. He has officially been charged with the seventh count of rape.
Reports confirmed that the police in Manchester received a complaint last week that the 27-year-old French defender raped a victim in July this year but the police decided to prevent the media from reporting it.
The restriction on the complaint was lifted earlier today, December 22, after Benjamin Mendy appeared before the Chester Crown Court.
As it stands, Mendy allegedly committed three counts of rape on October 11, 2020, and allegedly committed sexual assault on January 2, 2021.
On July 24, 2021, the Manchester City defender committed one count of rape (which is the latest count added to his series of charges). While on August 23, 2021, Mendy committed two counts of rape.
