Borussia Dortmund are likely to retain embattled Man United loanee Jadon Sancho when his loan deal expires.

Jadon Sancho has a few months left on his loan deal to Borussia Dortmund and there was no buy option attached to his deal.

He could be back at Old Trafford if Borussia Dortmund refuse to extend his loan deal or sign him permanently.

At Manchester United, Sancho was frozen out of action following his fallout with Man United manager Erik ten Hag. Hence, he would not like to return to Manchester United.

According to BILD, Borussia Dortmund are exploring chances of keeping Jadon Sancho on a season-long loan deal next season.

They are reportedly not interested in buying out the player but are open to keeping him for another full season before considering a permanent deal.

Away from his troubled spell with Manchester United, Jadon Sancho has gotten back to gears with Borussia Dortmund. He has a goal and an assist in his 8 Bundesliga appearances for the club and will be hoping to continue his career with the Bundesliga outfit.

Sancho previously had a stint with Borussia Dortmund before he was signed for £73m as one of United club's most expensive forwards back then.

It is understood United will incur losses financial as he has fallen off the pecking order with a resultant drop in market value.

As per reports, Manchester United have slammed a £40m price tag on the player, £37m less than his transfer value.
