Bournemouth Vs Luton Premier League match has been suspended after Luton captain Tom Lockyer suddenly collapsed on the field during the game.
Lockyer apparently suffered a brain injury as per reports and suddenly lost consciousness, plunging to the ground while the game was on.
Luton medical officers had to quickly intervene and have him stretchered off the field for first aid due to the incident. As of the time of filing this report, the match has suspended in solidarity to the Tom Lockyer.
Both sides drew 1-1 before the incident, and it is still unclear whether the match will be rescheduled or not.
It is not the first time Tom Lockyer has collapsed on the field. In June 2023, Lockyer suffered similar fate during the final of Championship playoffs.
