Popular Nigerian singer, Boy Spyce has revealed how some artists pay twitter influencers so they can Trend on twitter.
Boy Spyce is a Nigerian singer who is signed to Don Jazzy’s Mavin Records. His real name is Ugbekile David Osemeke but he is popularly known as Boy Spyce.
He shared this information during a recent interview with Cool FM Nigeria, which is hosted by popular reality TV star, Tacha.
Tacha had asked him what upsets him about social media, influencer and artists using influencer and then he replied saying that it passes him off when he sees some artists paying twitter influencers to write something about them so that they will Trend.
He said that some have a WhatsApp group where they could go to drop an amount of money for those influencers Trend something about then on twitter. He says the artists will pay them to push out a narrative so they can Trend.
He says he blocked those who tried it with him because he doesn't want them to use him for PR.
He says he is confident in himself and doesn't need to pay people so he can Trend.
He believes you don't need to pay people people tell the world they are dope, he says instead, they by themselves should show that they are dope.
