IMG-20240623-WA0002-1.jpg

Fire broke out at the Christ Embassy Church Oregun, Lagos State, today the 23rd of June. Panic filled the air as those in the environment ran helter-skelter to raise the alarm and contain the fire. To worsen it, the fire broke out on a Sunday, a day meant for church service but the fire rescue team reportedly arrived at the scene to contain the fire. There hasn't been any record of casualty as of the time of filing this article and the fire rescue team is currently working to put off this fire.

The cause of the fire hasn't been revealed but all hands are on deck to identify what may have triggered the fire. The Christ Embassy church was founded in 1987 in Chris Oyakhilome with its headquarters in Oregun, Lagos State. All church members were reportedly redirected and denied access to the premises since the building caught fire to enable the fire service to quench the fire and later identify what triggered it.
