Brighton and Hove Albion striker Deniz Undav is on the verge of sealing a loan move to Stuttgart for a reported loan fee of about €700,000.
The 27-year-old made 30 appearances for the Seagulls last term, scoring 8 goals and providing 1 assist across all competitions.
According to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, Deniz Undav will be undergoing his medical and signing his contract on Wednesday, July 2, 2023.
Deniz joined Brighton from Royale Union Saint-Gilloise on the 30th of January, 2022 for a fee of €7 million.
The German striker was afterwards loaned back to the Belgian club till the end of the 2021/22 season.
He was a regular feature for Brighton and Hove Albion in the 2023 season, often coming on from the bench.
Deniz Undav has also played for several teams in his senior footballing career, including; TSV Havelse, Braunschweig II and SV Meppen.
The 27-year-old was born in Germany and he is of Kurdish descent. Deniz family hails from the city of Urfa and the town Viranşehir located in Turkey.
He will become RB Leipzig's 8th arrival this summer, having already signed Serhou Guirassy, Woo-yeong Jeong, Jovan Milosevic, Alexander Nübel, Maximilian Mittelstädt, Matej Maglica and Jamie Leweling.
SC Braga sign Rony Lopes
Meanwhile, SC Braga have completed the signing of Rony Lopes from Sevilla on a free transfer, which could potentially rise to €500,000 based on clauses being met.
The 27-year-old has signed a three-year deal with the Primeira Liga side, which will keep him at the club until the summer of 2026.
Confirming his arrival to the Estádio Municipal de Braga, the Portuguese side put out a statement on its website which reads:
“SC Braga announces that it has reached an agreement with Sevilha FC for the permanent transfer of Rony Lopes.”
Rony Lopes joined Sevilla from AS Monaco on the 14th of August, 2019 for a fee of €25 million.
He made 14 appearances for the La Liga side, scoring no goals and providing 1 assist across all competitions.
The former Manchester City player spent the entirety of the 2022/23 season on-loan at French side Troyes.
Rony Lopes was impressive for the Troyes last term and he made 32 appearances for the side, scoring 7 goals and providing 5 assists across all competitions.
However, despite his contributions to the French club, they still relegated to the Ligue 2 after 19th in the first division last term.
Lopes also shared his delight at joining Braga with a statement which he shared on Twitter which reads:

They would have to face Serbian side TSC Backa Topola on the 8th and 15th of August to ascertain their spot in the 2023/24 UEFA Champions League.
