The Flairjet, a British private charter company penalized for violation of Nigeria's COVID-19 airport directives.The Minister of Aviation, Senator Hadi Sirika, revealed this on Sunday, via his verified twitter handle."Flairjet were found to violate our civil aviation regulations IS 1.3. 3(a) Table 2(IV) 7(a) and IS 1.3.3 (a) Table 2 (VIII) (4). "The maximum penalty for eash is N500,000. "We caused them to pay and reported their callous misdemeanour to UK CAA, MFA and the UK High commission." He said. The Federal Government had banned commercial flights in the country, allowing only essential and emergency flights to operate in the airports. Accordiog to the Minister, Flairjet had been approved by the Ministry of Aviations to carry out humanitarian operations.
