Nigerian artists Burna Boy, Asake, Ayra Starr, Seyi Vibez, and Tems have been nominated for the 2024 Black Entertainment Television (BET) Awards.
The prestigious award show released their nominees list and as usual, Nigerian artists made it to the list. Grammy award-winning superstar, Burna Boy, was nominated for the Best Male Hip-Hop Artist and Best Male R&B/Pop Artist categories. Ayra Starr got the highest nominations as she competes with the likes of Nicki Minaj, Beyonce, and Megan Thee Stallion for BET Her Award, Best New Artist, and Best International Act.
Seyi Vibez got his first international nomination at the BET as he features in the Viewers Choice: Best International Act. Asake is nominated for Best International Act while Tems got nominated for Video Director of the Year and Dr. Bobby Jones Best Gospel/Inspirational Award.
