Popular Nigerian singer, Burna Boy has revealed how he turned down a $5million opportunity in Dubai simply because he won't be allowed to smoke weed. He disclosed this while rehearsing with his band, known as Outsiders. He had been singing freestyle and he then revealed how he turned down this big opportunity. It was in the same freestyle video he dissed his colleague, Brymo saying he fell off in his career.
Burna Boy is a famous Grammy award-winning musician. His full name is Damini Ebunoluwa Ogulu. He is a 32 year old Afrobeat artist. The offer which was worth $5 million was for him to perform in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, UAE. He didn't take the offer because he knew he wouldn't be allowed to smoke weed while staying in Dubai because of the laws.
Recall Dubai has laws which don't allow people to smoke in all public recreational areas including parks and beaches in Dubai.
