Car crushes nursing mother to death in osun state
A car killed a nursing mother recently in the town of Agunbeelewo. The incident took place in this town located in Olorunda Local Government Area in Osun State. This was on Saturday.
It was a private car that crushed this woman to death. The woman has been identified as Iyawo Ori-Ade.
She was on a commercial motorcycle that day when this car crashed into them. The woman was on her way to pay her electricity bill that day when this happened.
It was a Toyota Camry that hit the motorcycle which the woman was on. An eyewitness had claimed that the driver of the car who has been identified as Bello Ayodeji, had lost control of the car and then hit the motorcycle
Both the bike rider and the passenger, who was this woman, were seriously injured.
They were taken to the Osun State University Teaching Hospital for treatment. The woman eventually died.
Yemisi Opalola who is the spokesperson of Osun State Police Command confirmed this incident.
She revealed that the woman had died at the hospital she was taken to. They have deposited her body at the mortuary for autopsy.
She said investigations are still ongoing.
