CBN Launches New Website to Enhance Transparency and User Experience

The Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) has officially unveiled its newly redesigned website today. This development marks a significant milestone in the bank’s commitment to transparency, accountability, and improved user experience.

In a statement by the acting Director of Corporate Communications, Sidi Ali, the bank announced that the revamped platform integrates cutting-edge technology, operating on the latest Microsoft .NET Core 8 framework. This upgrade ensures faster navigation and a more seamless user experience.

Key features of the new website include:
• Enhanced User Experience: Simplified navigation across all devices.
• Mobile Responsiveness: Optimized for mobile devices and various browsers.
• Broader Information Access: Comprehensive insights into the CBN’s mandate and activities.

CBN Governor, Olayemi Cardoso, initially revealed plans for the redesign during the 30th Nigerian Economic Summit in October, emphasizing the bank’s dedication to openness and accessibility. He stated:

“Our website is about to be significantly overhauled to improve transparency and openness. This change is aimed at bringing information closer to the people and ensuring they have access to vital insights about the bank’s operations.”

This strategic update aligns with the CBN’s broader goals to build trust and provide its stakeholders with up-to-date, easily accessible information.

Stay tuned as the CBN’s new platform sets a higher standard for engagement and accessibility in the financial sector!
