Chairman of Lagos State Football Association Fouad Oki slaps vice
The Chairman of the Lagos State Football Association Fouad Oki has allegedly dealt a hot slap on the Vice Chairman Olawale Gafar during a meeting after he was suspended for misconduct.
During the meeting, Oki was charged with committing offenses that were against the rules and regulations of the Nigeria Football Federation. He was accused of refusing to attend the NFF Congress without informing the LSFA beforehand. He was also guilty of changing the association's logo without seeking approval from the board.
In addition to the aforementioned offenses, Oki was accused of denying the Nigerian Professional League access to test-run the A1 camera before the commencement of the league and for the instructions from the Nigerian Football Federation (NFF).
As if that wasn't enough, the board stated that Oki delayed and stopped many youth tournaments and recreational football, threatened some football teams to move out of Lagos, and also initiated the independence of the Lagos State Football Association without authorization from the NFF.
In the end, Oki was suspended after a 5-4 man majority vote agreed for his suspension. In this video, the vice Chairman Olawale Gafar was seen speaking in agony after Oki allegedly slapped him in the face.
