Chef Dammy plans to apply for GWR, set to cook for 150 hours.
Nigerian chef, Damilola Adeparusi has revealed her plan to break the Guinness World Record by cooking for 150 hours.
Recall she just completed a 120 hour cook-a-thon which wasn't registered with the Guinness World Record. They had revealed that they didn't receive an application and she also said she didn't apply.
She has now planned to apply officially and then carry out this exercise again.
She is set to break the record which Hilda Baci has set with 93 hours 11 minutes. Recall Hilda cooked for 100 hours but after GWR reviewed the records, they removed 7 hours due to a miscalculation of the hours allotted for rest.
Chef Dammys attempt had brought attention, critics from some and commendations from some as well. She proceeded to complete 120 hours regardless.
She went ahead and spoke to some newsmen on Friday in Ado-Ekiti. She revealed the first attempt was not registered with GWR. She says after completing the first one, she is now ready to apply and take on the challenge.
Chef Dammy revealed that she is now open to new opportunities, experiences and exploration.
He says that now that the world knows what she is capable of doing, it's time she is given a chance to explore her capabilities.
She also revealed that she and her team have decided to embark on this new challenge next month.
