Chelsea defeated injury-threatened Brighton in the Premier League by 3-2 despite being 10 men down after Chelsea captain Conor Gallagher was given the second yellow card in the second half.

Chelsea scored the first goal in the 17th minute through Enzo Fernandez. It was the midfielder's first goal in the Premier League since moving from Benfica.

Another goal came in for Chelsea in the 21st minute of the match through Levi Colwill, who bounced on a lost ball, but the English defender failed to celebrate.

Chelsea conceded a cheap goal before the end of the first half through Brighton attacker Buonanotte.

After Gallagher got sent off at the end of the first half for his second yellow card, Enzo Fernandez scored yet another goal from the penalty spot after Mudryk was fouled in the 18-yard box.

Joao Pedro scored an excellent header to give the Brighton fans any hope of coming back into the game.

After a lot of possession from the away team, the Chelsea side were able to get into the game from a corner kick, with Disasi creating a chance for Enzo Fernandes to go ahead in the game.

Enzo Fernandez scored a header to put Chelsea in front in the 17th minute of the match.

After the Blues first goal, they kept attacking the Brighton team, with Jackson almost scoring a header.

Former Brighton defender Levi Colwill, who now plays for Chelsea, scored the second goal of the game in the 21st minute, but he chose not to celebrate.

Chelsea goalkeeper Sanchez almost gave Brighton a goal in the 23rd minute of the first half after a Thiago Silva pass went through his leg.

Brighton attacker Buonanotte gave the Brighton fans a source of hope of getting an equalizer against Chelsea with a beautiful goal in the 43rd minute of the game.

In the 44th minute of the match, Chelsea almost extended their lead by two goals, but the Brighton goalkeeper was strong enough to push the ball away.

A horrible scene occurred as Gallagher was given the matching order by the referee for the second yellow card of the game in the 45th minute of the game.

The manager couldn't believe what happened with the football club chasing the game before the end of the first half.

Sanchez was called into action in the early minutes of the second half.

Chelsea could have gone down to nine men after Moises Caicedo fouled two Brighton players, but the referee decided not to send the midfielder out of the game.

Enzo Fernandez scored his second goal from the penalty spot after James Milner fouled Mudryk in the penalty box.

However, Chelsea were able to contain the pressure from Brighton before the end of the second half, with Chelsea goalkeeper Sanchez making excellent saves.

Joao Pedro got a goal back in the 90th minute to give Brighton hope of coming back into the game.

Chelsea will travel to Old Trafford on December 6, 2023, to face Manchester United at 9:15 p.m.
