With January transfer window at the corner, there have been multiple reports linking the Nigerian and Napoli striker to the London club.

Osimhen is in contract with Napoli till 2025 and the club have made it clear the Nigerian forward is key to their plan.

Manchester United, Chelsea, PSG, and Bayern Munich were among top European clubs who were reportedly interested in a move for the player.

Napoli valued Victor Osimhen in excess of £100m, and the price tag was a turnoff for Bayern Munich and Chelsea, according to reports.

Bayern Munich turned attention to Harry Kane and signed the England top striker from Tottenham for £82m

Chelsea opted for Villarreal forward Nicolas Jackson and snapped the Senegalese for £32m

Now, according to the Telegraph, Chelsea have revive their interest in Victor Osimhen and are ready for a January transfer swoop for the striker.

The report adds Victor Osimhen is open to a move to Stamford Bridge despite having two years left on his contract with Napoli.

With the the two parties sharing overlapping transfer interest, Napoli will be a third force to sanction a possible move.

As things stand, the Azzuri will obviously not budge on their valuation of Victor Osimhen, and are ready to let the player leave but at the right offer.

The ball is now in Chelsea's court whether to foot the transfer fee or back out again as they did last summer.

Osimhen has been sidelined for weeks but is now back to action with Napoli and will be hoping to continue with his elite level performance for the Serie A champions while hoping for greener pastures elsewhere.
