Chinedu Ikedieze shares how his earlier movie roles made people think he was uneducated
Popular Nigerian actor Chinedu Ikedieze has shared how the movie roles he played earlier in his career gave people the impression that he was uneducated. Chinedu Ikedieze is known popularly for his role as Aki in the 2002 movie known as Aki na Ukwa and another popular one known as Aki and Pawpaw.
He is one of the famous duo known as Aki and Pawpaw. He is married with children. He got married to Nneoma Ikedieze in 2011 but keeps his family private.
He recently shared during a recent interview with Chude Jideonwo who is a popular Nigerian media personality that the roles he played portrayed him as an uneducated person. The roles he played in his earlier movies were mostly mischievous ones.
He shared that people would often mistake him for someone who isn't educated and that wasn't true. He shared that his mother had even ensured that he had a formal education when he was growing up.
His mother had told him he couldn't choose some careers that would require manual labour and this was because of his stunted growth.
He said, "Due to the mischievous roles I play in movies, some people think I’m not educated. My mother told me that I have to go to school and study hard to become successful because I cannot become a carpenter or a bricklayer because of my stunted growth.”
He has a degree in Mass Communication as well as an HND as opposed to how people think he is uneducated. His earlier roles consisted of mischievous parts or playing the role of a child because of his stunted growth and appearance.
