Chinwetalu Agu reveals how he rejected N10m offered to him for movie role
Popular Nollywood actor, Chinwetalu Agu has revealed how he rejected a sum of N10m that was offered to him for a movie role.
Chinwetalu Agu is a well-known Nollywood actor known for his role in movies like Throne of the Gods and Police recruit.
He recently revealed how he rejected this money while he was speaking in an interview with Chude Jideonwo who is a popular Nigerian media personality.
He revealed that Mike Adenugaqho, a business person, had offered him a contract of N10 million to play a role in a movie.
He revealed that he had not even gotten N1m before but didn't take the N10m and had gone ahead to insist on N20m. He says the businessman had finally given him N20m after he wanted to walk away. He had said to the businessman ‘if it’s not N20 million, forget it.’
He kept insisting and insisting that that was the money he wanted and then acted like he was going to leave when they finally agreed. They didn't think he was serious about leaving until he stood up and begin to walk away and the Chief Mike called him back. They then agreed to his requests and brought out the documents to sign.
He says that he didn’t want them to know that N20m was a big deal to him him that moment but it was really a big thing for him. That sum of money was indeed a huge amount which he had never gotten before
