Cole Palmer is set for a significantly improved pay package at Chelsea less than a year after joining the club from Manchester City.

Palmer moved to Stamford Bridge from Manchester City on September 1, 2023, for a fee of €47 million.

Cole Palmer penned a seven-year deal with the Blues in the summer of 2023, which saw him earn about £75,000 per week.

Following the Englishman's impressive showing since his arrival, Chelsea have decided to reward him with a better and bigger contract and salary.

Palmer will reportedly earn £150,000 per week next season, an amount that will put him closer to some of his underperforming colleagues who are earning more.

Cole Palmer has been the standout player at Chelsea this campaign, scoring crucial goals and delivering the goods when needed.

The 21-year-old has made 36 appearances for the Blues this season, scoring 15 goals and providing 11 assists in all competitions.

These numbers look swashbuckling and it appears he most likely will be part of Gareth Southgate's squad for the 2024 European Championships.

Palmer is amongst the players selected by Southgate for the upcoming international friendlies against Brazil and Belgium, with the midfielder's spot in Three Lions looking unshakeable.

Meanwhile, Cole Palmer is currently focused on guiding Chelsea to the FA Cup semi-finals, as they welcome Leicester City to Stamford Bridge on Sunday, March 17, 2024.

The Blues are aiming to end the season with silverware, having lost the final of the Carabao Cup to Liverpool in February 2024.

Mauricio Pochettino's side's best chance of clinching silverware is through the FA Cup and they will be battling hard to see if they can win the trophy.

The Foxes defeated Chelsea to win the competition in 2021, via a Yuri Tielemans solitary goal in the 63rd minute.

Definitely, Leicester City have been impressive in the English Championship and they will provide a stern test to the Blues.

Cole Palmer will be hoping to accentuate enough brilliance, worthy enough to guide Chelsea to the semi-finals of the oldest cup competition in the world.

Manchester City are still in the competition, having defeated Newcastle United 2-0 at the Etihad Stadium on Saturday, March 16, 2024.

Bernardo Silva's brace aided the Cityzens, as they qualified for the semis of the FA Cup for the 6th consecutive season, becoming the first club to do so.

Liverpool and Manchester United have a date at Old Trafford on Sunday, March 17, 2024, while Coventry City defeated Wolves 3-2 at the Molineux on Saturday, March 16, 2024.

Definitely, the Blues' task to win the FA Cup will be herculean, but Cole Palmer will be looking to rally his teammates, as they hope to put smiles on the face of dispirited Chelsea supporters.
