The Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) has urged the public to ignore a fraudulent job posting that has been circulating on social media and other channels.Mr Rasheed Mahe, the CAC's Head of Media Unit, issued the recommendation in an Abuja statement on Tuesday.
According to Mahe, the commission is not currently conducting any recruitment activities.
He called the report dishonest and deceptive, and claimed it was designed to defraud the public.
When the Commission begins any such exercise, he said, it will notify the public through the usual means.
"We would want to say unequivocally that the online recruitment information is completely untrue, as the Commission is currently not recruiting."
"As a responsible government organization, we want to ensure the public that suitable communication channels will be used anytime the commission conducts such an exercise.""
As a result, we warn the general public to ignore the news and to be aware of bogus online recruitment vendors that are yearning for victims to scam.
Job recruitment and job seekers will get paid well.
