Corpse found in abandoned tricycle in Anambra State.

A corpse has been discovered by some residents of Anambra State recently. The corpse was found in an abandoned tricycle within the state
It was some suspected cult members in the state who killed the victim and duped his body where it was later found.
The victim is a middle-aged man who is yet to be identified.
The abandoned tricycle which the body was found was damaged and had been left around the back gate of the Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu University Teaching Hospital, located in Amaku, Awka, in the state.
This incident happened on Wednesday, August 2, 2023. The residents in the area have been thrown into panic due to this incident.
Some witnesses revealed that the killers had dumped the body a few hours before they discovered it.
A witness shared that he had passed through the area a few hours before and both the tricycle and the body were not there only for it to appear later on.
Some others said they saw some people drop off the tricycle but assumed they would be back to pick it up but they didn't return for hours.
DSP Ikenga Tochukwu, who is the Police Public Relations Officer of the state has confirmed this incident.
He shared that they have removed the corpse from the scene and have deposited the body at a morgue.
He revealed that they are conducting an investigation into the case to understand what happened.
