Cow Attacks and kills man in Lagos state
A cow has attacked and killed a man in Lagos state recently. This cow killed a 30 year old man who has been identified as Ubani Usman. This man was headbutted to death by a loose cow.
This incident occurred on Wednesday, August 30, 2023. The cow was from the abattoir in Agege Area of Lagos State. Thus happened on Wednesday evening around 7:40pm. The cow has broken out from the abattoir and attacked this man leading to his death.
Witnesses revaled that police in the state had stormed the abattoir that housed this cow that got loose so as to arrest the cow that killed this man but they weren't successful as the butchers in the abattoir refused to produce the cow that was involved.
The man who was severely injured after the cow attacked him was rushed to the general hospital in the area by some bystanders but he was pronounced dead by the doctor in the hospital.
A witness revaled that the victim had been standing not to far from this abattoir when suddenly the cow escaped and ran to the man and attacked him.
He mentioned that “The man was standing not far from the abattoir when the incident happened. The cow broke loose, and before we knew it, it had rammed the man down. We took the victim to the general hospital in the area, but he was later confirmed dead by a doctor. When the policemen came to arrest the ram and the owners, the people in the abattoir were not helpful at all. So no arrest has been made.”
