Al Nassr smashed Inter Miami in a preseason friendly, with Cristiano Ronaldo watching on from the stands.

Recall Ronaldo was ruled out from the game due to a calf injury, and as such he played no part in his team's rampart win over the Herons.

Al Nassr were free-scoring in the encounter, with several outstanding strikes being witnessed.

The Saudi Pro League club began the bashing early on, with Otavio putting them in front in the 3rd minute.

Anderson Talisca was remarkable despite the absence of Cristiano Ronaldo and he netted a hat-trick in the game, scoring in the 10th, 51st, and 73rd minute.

In the 12th minute, former Manchester City defender Aymeric Laporte scored a worldie of a goal from his own half, to the surprise of many.

Mohammed Maran was the other goalscorer on the night, pouncing the ball into the back of the net in the 68th minute.

Cristiano Ronaldo was captured on many occasions in the stands, with the 5-time Ballon d'Or winner showing his delight as his teammates pummeled Lionel Messi's Inter Miami.

Meanwhile, Messi was introduced in the 83rd minute for Leonardo Campana, with Tata Martino possibly aiming to change the complexion of the game.

However, Lionel Messi's introduction was insignificant as the deed was already done and it was impossible to claw back Inter Miami from the mud of defeat.

The Herons lost both matches played against Saudi Arabian oppositions by a cumulative scoreline of 10-3, having lost 4-3 to Al Hilal and 6-0 to Al Nassr.

Tata Martino's side are in a terrible run of 12 matches, without a victory, with their last win coming on September 21, 2023, defeating Toronto FC 4-0 in a 2023 Major League Soccer affair.

Despite the arrival of Luis Suarez, the team hasn't clicked yet, with these players so far failing to show their quality.

Inter Miami have the pleasure of owning Suarez, Sergio Busquets, Jordi Alba, and Lionel Messi. However, based on what has been seen in recent matches, it is difficult to tell if these players will lead the club to relative success as expected by the fans.

Anyway, Lionel Messi and his teammates face a Hong Kong team on February 4, 2024, in their next friendly clash, before playing Japanese side Vissel Kobe on Wednesday, February 7, 2024.

The Miami-based club also take on Messi's boyhood club Newell's Old Boys on Thursday, February 15, 2024, before commencing the incoming Major League Soccer campaign on Thursday, February 22, 2024, playing Real Salt Lake.

Inter Miami are aiming to win the MLS crown this campaign, a lofty height that looks like it can only be imagined rather than achieved by the club.

Anyway, the indicators aren't looking good ahead of the 2024 Major League Soccer season, given their showing in preseason.
