Cristiano Ronaldo once found it difficult to recruit a personal chef willing to cook specifically for him due to his distinctive demands.

Ronaldo turned 39 on Monday, February 5, 2024, and if you aren't familiar with the footballer it will be shocking to you due to his impressive shape.

Cristiano Ronaldo has had a fabulous football career, playing for several mega clubs, including; Manchester United, Real Madrid, and Juventus.

He began his career at Portuguese top-tier side Sporting Lisbon, before exiting the side to join Manchester United in 2003.

During his stay at Old Trafford, the 39-year-old did great things, including winning one of his 5 Ballon d'Or awards in 2008, becoming the last player to win the award whilst playing in the Premier League.

He exited Manchester United in 2009 to join Real Madrid for a then-record fee of €94 million after helping the Red Devils win 3 League titles, 2 EFL cups, and 1 UEFA Champions League amongst many other trophies.

It can be said that Cristiano Ronaldo developed into a better and monstrous athlete after moving to Real Madrid, as he broke several records and reached astonishing heights.

The Portugal international is in the twilight of his career, but his career longevity and his ability to deliver magnificent performances at such an age, have over time earned him the respect of many.

It can also be expected of the Portuguese to still be in top shape, after retirement as it appears his physical exercise and intake have become part of his being.

In order to still be in top shape after he hangs up his boots, he will need to have a healthy diet and Ronaldo looks like he is unwavering and it might be so for a lengthy time to come.

In September 2021, Cristiano Ronaldo acquired a land in Quinta da Marinha, Portugal, where he built a 'forever home' for his family.

During the early part of 2023, the former Juventus man was looking to hire a personal chef to cook for him and his family at the £17 million mansion.

However, despite reportedly tabling a salary of £ 4,500 per month, Ronaldo couldn't find anyone who met his needs.

Reports in Portugal indicated that Cristiano Ronaldo and his partner Georgina Rodriguez maintained that the chef specialized in Portuguese cuisine.

The chef must also be sound and worthy to prepare international dishes including sushi.

It is uncertain if the forward eventually found someone suitable for the position, but indeed he found it hard to find a top-quality chef with the required culinary skills.

Ronaldo will be 40 when his current deal with Al Nassr expires in 2025, however, there is no pointer from the Portuguese indicating that he will retire from the beautiful game.

However, in the summer of 2023, Cristiano Ronaldo revealed that his career in Europe is pretty over, as he frankly stated that he “won't return to European football”.

The football icon said: “I won't return to European football, the door is completely closed.

“I'm 38 years old, also European football has lost a lot of quality...
the only valid one league is Premier League, they're way ahead of all the other leagues.”
