Daily Pre-Market Highlights – U.S. Futures Rise, Bitcoin Tops $100K, Expedia Drops

U.S. stock futures are pointing higher this morning, building on Thursday’s rally after news of a U.S.-U.K. trade deal. Meanwhile, Bitcoin surges past $100,000, and several stocks are making notable premarket moves.

1. Futures Climb on Trade Deal Optimism

Futures on the Nasdaq (+0.3%), S&P 500, and Dow are all higher after Thursday’s gains, fueled by President Trump's announcement of a trade deal with the U.K. Oil and gold prices are also rising.

2. Bitcoin Surges Above $100K

Bitcoin (BTC) is up over 2%, trading near $103,000, marking its first return above $100K since February. Crypto-related stocks like MicroStrategy (MSTR) and Riot Platforms (RIOT) are rising, while Coinbase (COIN) slips after weak earnings.

3. Expedia (EXPE) Sinks on Travel Demand Concerns

Expedia shares are down 10% in premarket trading after reporting weak Q1 results and cutting its full-year outlook. The company cited soft U.S. travel demand amid growing economic uncertainty.

4. Pinterest (PINS) Pops on Strong Earnings

Pinterest is up 14% after beating Q1 revenue and user growth estimates. The platform reported 570 million monthly active users—a 10% year-over-year increase.

5. Affirm (AFRM) Falls on Disappointing Forecast

Affirm shares are down over 6% after issuing a lower-than-expected revenue outlook for the current quarter, despite a small surprise profit and better-than-expected gross merchandise volume.
