Dangote in tears as he pays tribute to late CEO of Access Holdings, Herbert Wigwe
Nigeria's richest man, Aliko Dangote broke down in hot tears when paying his final tribute to the late CEO of Access Holdings, Herbert Wigwe. Recall that Herbert Wigwe, his son, and his wife all died in a helicopter crash that happened on the 9th of February, 2024. It was a sad evening when the news broke into the media and families and friends couldn't handle the tragic death.
“Herbert Wigwe, the Chief Executive Officer of Access Holdings PLC has reportedly died in a helicopter crash that occurred in California on the 10th of February, 2024. The American Federal Aviation Administration confirmed that a total of 6 people lost their lives in the crash which happened near Nipton, California. Unfortunately, none of the passengers which included Herbert, his wife, two kids, and two others, survived the crash.”
“The helicopter was identified as a Eurocopter EC 130. One Bimbo Ogunbanjo who was the son of Chief Ogunbanjo was also amongst those who were in the helicopter. The CEO of Access Holdings PLC was born on the 15th of August 1966 and aged 57. May their souls rest in peace.”
