Popular Nigerian musician Davido has made a commitment to give a sum of $10,000 to the Eko Hotels staff who found and returned $70,000 to the owner recently.
Recall a woman who has been identified as Kekwaaru Ngozi Mary found a sum of $70,000 in the hotel and returned it to the owner in Lagos.
This woman works in Eko Hotel and Suites and had found this money which was misplaced by a customer who stayed in the hotel.
When she found this money, she reported it to the General Manager immediately who made contact with the customer and the money was returned safely and complete.
Many have hailed this woman for her honesty and integrity in doing what is right. This huge amount is worth millions of naira yet this woman returned it. Recall just yesterday, Peter Obi also took to his Twitter to shower praises on this lady for her integrity.
Davido has also now added to this by committing to giving this lady $10,000.
Just yesterday, Sunday, he replied to the news which disclosed what this woman had done and he said “Find her for me … I donate $10k”.
Later on, a video surfaced on the internet showing Davido and this lady on a video call. She was really excited and overwhelmed by Davido's actions.
She even took time to pray for Davido during the call saying God will take him places.
