Davido hasn't seen Imade since 2022 by choice, Sophia Momodu speaks up amid child custody wahala
Davido's baby mama Sophia Momodu speaks up about the lawsuit Davido filed regarding the joint custody of their daughter, Imade Adeleke. Through her Lawyers, Sophia revealed that she never denied the Afrobeats singer access to their daughter. She said the singer had by choice, chosen not to see his daughter since 2022 because she had ended their romantic relationship.
Sophia stated that she and Davido dated from 2014-2017, after which they broke up and continued their love affairs in 2020-2022. In 2022, Sophia ended their relationship and made herself sexually inaccessible to the singer. She then added that the singer hasn't personally reached out to Imade since 2022 even on her birthdays. However, he posts her pictures sparingly on social media to allegedly fool the public into thinking he has been in contact with his daughter.
Sophia further stated that David hasn't paid Imade's school fees or any other fees since 2022, and she has been the only one shouldering the responsibility ever since he abandoned them. However, she wishes for a positive outcome from this lawsuit because she wants Davido to be present in their daughter's life.
