Davido reveals that he had to choose of out 62 songs for his new album
Popular Nigerian musician Davido has revealed that he had to choose out of 62 songs for his new album Timeless.
He mentioned that he had recorded many songs numbering up to 62 for his album and he had to choose out of these songs.
Recall his new album was released on the 31st of March 2023 and has 17 tracks.
He mentioned how they had first narrowed it down to 20 songs and then eventually 17 songs.
He revealed this to CNN African Voices recently.
He mentioned the process they went through to pick the songs that eventually made it out with the new album. He mentioned it was quite hard picking from this large number.
He mentioned how he can pick one now and in a few weeks he isn't feeling it again and then picks another one.
The new album has been topping charts ever since its release last month.
The singer has also revealed that there will be a 'Timeless' deluxe and also a performance/concert coming up on the 23rd of April at Tafawa Balewa Square in Lagos
