Popular Nigerian musician Davido has revealed that he still cries over the death of his son, Ifeanyi.
David Adeleke is a Nigerian Afrobeats star and he is known as Davido. He is married to Chioma Rowland who was Ifeanyi’s mother.
He has now revealed how the death of his son still brings tears to his eyes. Recall Ifeanyi passed away in October last year, 2022.
The little boy had drowned at Davido’s Banana Island mansion.
He revealed this during a recent interview with Omega. It was there Davido said he still cries whenever he remembers the death of his son.
He also revealed how many people were expecting his latest album to have a sad time because his son had passed away but he had released other hit songs.
He mentioned how he misses Ifeanyi everyday and every moment there are tears coming from his eyes. He says that people don't have to see his tears.
He says when he looks at the mirror, he says other that it just being himself, he knows the number of people who live and depend on him.
He says Ifeanyi is up there looking at him and his primary responsibility is to look out for his mother, Chioma. He says he has to be strong for her and the world as well.
He says Ifeanyi, his son and his own mother, Mrs Veronica Adeleke are up there dancing to his songs in heaven.
