Popular Nigerian musician, Davido has revealed why his father had gotten his show promoters and fans arrested.
David Adeleke is known popularly as Davido and he is an afrobeats star. His father Adedeji Adeleke, had gotten show promoters and fans arrested some time ago.
This isn't a recent incident but Davido shared the reason recently.
He mentioned this during an interview with Mo Gilligan on the Lateish Show.
He said his dad was fully adamant on education and business and didn't want him to live without education.
Any time his father had gotten wind of an event where he would perform, he would give orders to the police to raid such an event and arrest the show promoters and organizers.
They would also arrest the fans they managed to get.
He mentioned his family was all about business and education so his choice for music as a career was an issue.
He confessed his father had to resort to doing this because earlier when he began his career, he would abscond from school.
