Davido's adopted son Abdulmalik Uthman has graduated from Adeleke university with a BSC in Engineering.
Malik shared this via his Instagram page yesterday feeling grateful for graduating despite the challenges and struggles, while thanking his mother as well.
He wrote, "It was a difficult journey but I made it. Bachelor of Engineering. Popsi will be like "yo yo that's my son o, he is now a graduate" and I really want to use this medium to appreciate my sweet beautiful mother #44"
Recall that Davido adopted Malik after his biological father Obama DMW died in June 2021 after suffering heart failure.
In 2021 when Obama DMW died, Davido announced his plans to take care of his only son saying, "Even though you are taller than me, you are basically my son. Doing so well in school, passing with flying colors. I have to be strong for you, and you have to be strong for the family, your mom and your grandma. Everything 44 wanted to do for you, we will finish it together."
Ever since, Davido stayed true to his vow and adopted his only son Malik and took care of him, providing his basic needs and sponsoring his education.
