BBNaija reality star Chinonso Opara popularly known as KimOprah has stated that Nigerian singer David Adeleke aka Davido's management needs to do better at protecting him.
On a recent episode of Trending on Hip TV, KimOprah and her co-host Paschal were seen discussing how the singer's public image has been viciously attacked these past weeks.
Let's not forget the former NFF president, Amaju Pinnick who sued Davido for refusing to show up at a show in Warri even after he was paid over $100,000. The show promoter Abu Salami who alleged that Davido duped him of a whopping N218M. Singer Dammy Krane also dragged Davido for not paying him for a song collaboration.
KimOprah and Paschal said compared to his colleagues Wizkid, Burna Boy and Olamide, Davido has been in the news for the wrong things. Kim said the problem lies with the kind of people Davido chooses to surround himself with. She said things could have been handled better but they aren't. She expressed that business and pleasure shouldn't be mixed. With that being said, when it's time for business, he should keep things professional and do what needs to be done.
Kim said, "He's the man of the people. This is someone everybody loves. We don't wanna see certain things. At this point, they need to seize his phone. He doesn't need to be responding to all these commentaries. If he must respond, we need an official statement."
Pascal said Davido is the type of person that grew up with having a lot of people around him and that's where his lifestyle stemmed from. He said this affected Davido a lot and he got fixated on it.
Kim on the other hand, advised that Davido's management and lawyer needs to put more effort and do their due diligence in protecting his image.
