D'banj finally gets cleared of fraud and rape allegations from 2020

Popular Nigerian singer, D'banj has finally been freed from the fraud and rape allegations against him. Recall he was accused of fraud and sexual assault in 2020 and now he has finally be cleared. It was the Nigerian police force and the Independent Corrupt Practices and Other Related Offences Commission (ICPC) that cleared him from these allegations.
The lady who accused him claimed that Dbanj sexually assaulted her at the Glee Hotel in Victoria Island, Lagos. This was back in 2018 when they met. This had caused a lot of problems for Dbanj at the time and he claimed he was innocent in this matter. He then sued this lady and requested ₦100 million in compensation.

Dbanj is a famous Nigerian musician. His full name is Oladapo Oyebanjo, but he is popularly known as D'banj. He is 43 years old and he was born on the 9th or June 1980. He is the founder of Mo'hits alongside Don Jazzy. He is married to a woman named Lineo didi Kilgrow. The couple got married in 2016 and they have 2 children together.
Dbanj has officially been cleared of rape and N-Power fraud allegations. He was cleared of all these allegations after the investigation has been completed. It was reports from the investigation carried out by the Nigeria Police Force and the ICPC's clearance which was marked exhibits A and B that vindicated Dbanj. It was contained in an affidavit that was submitted by Toheeb Lawal, who is a lawyer based in Abuja, to the District Court of Abuja.

The reports revealed that from the investigation that was conducted, there was no medical report on the victim of the assault that served as an evidence that she was raped. There were no facts or corroborative evidence for the accusation. It was also revealed that the lady through her counsel, Ojoge, Omileye & Partners already voluntarily withdrew the petition. The letter they submitted to this effect was dated July 17, 2020. The young lady who accused him was identified as Seyitan Babatayo.
