Delta State PRO, Bright Edafe said in a statement that a kidnap incident led by a team of four men occurred at one filling station along campus III Road, Abraka, Delta State.
Fortunately, the men of the Abraka Police Station were on tour on that day. Immediately they got alerted, they sprung into action and trailed the kidnappers.
They were able to rescue the kidnap victim and arrested one of the suspects in the chase. Another kidnapper was shot dead on the spot while the other two escaped.
The vehicle's number plates have been noted by the police officers and investigations are currently ongoing to get to the root of the case.
In the end, the Abraka Policemen were able to retrieve an AK 47 rifle from these kidnappers.
