DJ Maphorisa arrested over alleged assault on his girlfriend
Popular South African Disc Jockey, DJ Maphorisa has been arrested over the alleged assault of his girlfriend.
Themba Sonnyboy Sekowe is a South Afrucan DJ known popularly known as DJ Maphorisa.
He alleged assaulted his girlfriend named Thuli Phongolo and has been arrested.
The police arrested him on Sunday, the 7th of May 2023.
Reports says Thuli was injured from this incident and the injures are visible.
The incident happened in Sandton, Johannesburg. He had assaulted her in her apartment on Sunday.
The lady had reported this incident to the police after it happened.
She narrated in a statement that he took her to the balcony and grabbed her neck in an aggressive manner.
