He revealed that he regrets what transpired between himself and the popular musician and record producer. Olamide is a rapper, singer and producer.
There was an issue between the duo at the Headies Awards in 2015 and this came after one of Don Jazzy's signees known as Reekado Banks was declared the winner in the Awards for the Next Rated category. This particular award is one that is very big and comes with so much recognition.
Recall that Olamide didn't agree with this. He believed that Lil Kesh, who was a mentee and apprentice of his own record label, YBNL deserved the award more because he had hit songs all through the year.
Due to this, there was an altercation between the two record producers.
Don Jazzy had gone to the stage to receive his own award after Olamide left the stage after airing his options on the award. Don Jazzy told him to come and collect the car he bought for his signee who won the award.
Olamide had gone to twitter after the event and continued to speak on the issue.
Don Jazzy then revealed that he regretted his action as soon as he came down from the stage. He believes his actions were out of character.
He mentioned this on a recent podcast episode which is hosted by Doyin who was an ex-housemate on the Big Brother Naija.
He revealed this when he was asked if there was anything he regrets doing to someone at a point in his career.
He mentioned that he already apologized to Olamide and the organisers of the event.
