Lagos State government has unveiled its plans to feed 1,500 residents in each LGA every day to curb the escalating food crisis in the country.

This was revealed by Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu during an interview on Channels TV on Thursday. Sanwo-Olu said the State is working on collaborating with local food vendors known as "Mama Put" in providing meals to about 1000-1,500 residents in every LGA per day for the next 30-60 days.

Sanwo-Olu said this project aims to reduce hunger in the state and ensure that each person gets at least one meal per day.
