Nigeria chef, Damilola Adeparusi has hit 60 hours in the Cook-a-thon she embarked on 3 days ago.

Damilola is a 300-level student at the Federal University of Oye, Ekiti. She studies Mass Communication.

This chef is based in Ekiti and she has plans to surpass Hilda Baci’s 100 hour and break the Guinness World Record for the longest cooking time with 120 hours.

She has 60 hours to go to reach this and break the record.

Recall Hilda Baci beat the Record just a few weeks ago and the Guinness World Record hasn't hasn't confirmed the record yet before this lady decided to do her own.

The event has been shared live on her Facebook since she began. However this has led to so many criticisms from Nigerians.

Many have taken to social media to air their options thinking she should have allowed GWR to confirm Hilda’s record first before starting.
