Erik Ten Hag has expressed that Manchester United are not looking at selling Marcus Rashford, amid Interest from Paris Saint Germain.

Ten Hag shared that the Red Devils aren't intending to sell Rashford, after tying him to a long term deal in July 2023.

Marcus Rashford penned a new deal with Manchester United in 2023 and the contract runs until 2028.

The Englishman's future has become a raging conversation, with some clubs interested in snapping up his services.

Speaking on the current stance with Rashford, Erik Ten Hag said: “We did not sign him last season for five years with the intention to sell him now.”

The Dutchman also indicated that Marcus Rashford should be part of the English side's project and they aren't concerned with reports of a possible departure.


Ten Hag said: “He should be part of this project. It is not a subject we talk about.”

Marcus Rashford has had an herculean season this campaign, battling several issues on and off the pitch.

In January 2024, the Manchester United academy graduate was disciplined by Ten Hag after going on a trip to Belfast without permission.

Rashford then reported than an illness had prevented him from being at training following his return from Northern Ireland.

Due to the issues of indiscipline and poor form which the Englishman has been immersed in this campaign, speculations have become rife of a possible move away from Old Trafford.

Reports indicate that Paris Saint Germain have made Marcus Rashford one of their transfer target, in the event of Kylian Mbappe's impending departure.

However, Manchester United are dealing with some financial restrictions heaped on them due to the Premier League's financial rules, and this could affect their transfer business in the summer.

The sale of an home grown player like Rashford would be treated as "pure profit", and it will relieve the Red Devils of some burden.

Anyway, Marcus Rashford's attacking input has improved in recent matches, with the England international scoring 5 goals in his last 11 matches - including scoring in Manchester United's last 2 matches.

It's over a year since the attacker last scored in three successive matches, but fans of the Red Devils will be hoping that he can discover his form and bang in goals with reckless abandon.
