Former West Ham and Chelsea player Scott Minto has stated that Erik ten Hag, the newly hired Ajax manager, may be considering leaving Manchester United.
After watching Manchester United's worrisome 4-0 defeat at the hands of Brighton on Saturday, he predicted Erik would have second thoughts.Moisés
Caicedo gave the Seagulls the lead, and Marc Cucurella extended the lead just four minutes after the restart. Moments later, Gross waltzed past the multiple league champions, and Leandro Trossard scored Brighton's fourth goal of the night.
"I'm telling you now, Erik ten Hag is checking his contract to see whether the ink is dry, getting a rubber out and saying, 'I'm not quite ready,'" Minto told talkSPORT.
"That's why Ten Hag and what he does with summer recruitment is so important, because this is Manchester United, but it's not the Manchester United we know today."
The result means that the Red Devils will not be playing in the Champions League next season. They must now win their remaining league games in order to qualify for the Europa League.
