The former Premier League star clashed with Real Madrid fans in Santiago Bernabeu and was forcefully cordoned off the corporate box.

In a viral social media footage, Alfe-Inge could be seen mocking Real Madrid fans who were shouting, "Adios" back at him in the corporate box.

The 50-year-old joined City fans at Santiago Bernabeu to watch the game, especially to see his son lead the charge against the Spanish and European giants.

The match was ongoing when the incident took place. At a point in the footage, Alfe-Inge Haaland could be seen trying to cup his ears to the"Adios" chant by Real Madrid fans as it got louder.

As he was cupping his ears to the chant, the security officials arrived and cordoned him off the security box.

The video of the bizzare incident was shared by Spanish journalist, Inaki Angulo, who revealed Alfe-Inge Haaland was cordoned off his box because he insulted Real Madrid fans by throwing his food on them.

It was not a good night for the Nowergian and his high-flying son at Santiago Bernabeu.

Erling Haaland could not score and his father was bundled out of the stands. However, Manchester City salvaged a draw as Kevin de Bruyne's equaliser canceled out Vinicius Jr first-half opener.

Alfe-Inge Haaland

Alfe-Inge Haaland is the father of prolific Premier League forward and Manchester City star, Erling Haaland. He is a former professional Premier League player who played for Leeds United, Nottingham Forest, and Manchester City.

Born on 23 November, 1973 in Stavanagh, Norway, Alfe-Inge Haaland started his youth career in 1979 at Bryne FK in Norway, his homeland.

He made his first senior club appearance for the club in 1989 before moving to the Premier League in 1993.

Alfe-Inge Haaland started his Premier League career with Nottingham Forest, making 75 appearances, scoring 7 goals. He then joined Leeds United in 1997 and made 74 appearances scoring 8 goals. In 2000, he joined Manchester City and made only 38 appearances, scoring 3 goals before his career slowed down with the knee injury from Roy Keane's infamous tackle.

Alfe-Inge Haaland made 34 appearances for Norway national team before his premature retirement due to the injury.

It was a beautiful coincidence when Erling Haaland joined Manchester City to continue in the footsteps of Alfe-Inge Haaland.

Much more significant was Erling Haaland's Manchester derby debut in which he avenged his father's nightmare clash with Roy Keane.

Erling Haaland scored a hat-trick in the game as City ran out 6-3 winners.

Alfe-Inge has been on the trail of the exploits of his son and was live at the Santiago Bernabeu as he watch his son lead the charge for his former club to break the 'Champions League curse.'

Erling Haaland did not impress much in the game and it appears his father was equally unhappy with the outcome coupled with the faceoff with Real Madrid fans but, in all, it was a fair result for Manchester City.

What happened between Alfe-Inge Haaland and Roy Keane?

Alfe-Inge Haaland and Roy Keane were foes on the field of play. When Alfe-Inge Haaland was playing for Leeds United in 1997, he clashed with Roy Keane in a game against Manchester United.

Roy Keane had feigned injury after a fair tackle by Alfe-Inge Haaland. The latter confronted him for feigning injury.

What did Haaland say to Keane?

Speaking later after the clash with Roy Keane, Alfe-Inge Haaland said he was just telling him, "get up as you normally do with players." Haaland added he did not know Roy Keane took that comment seriously.

Who injured Alfe-Inge Haaland?

Roy Keane dealt Haaland a devastating injury blow that ended the career of the Premier League player. In 2000, in a Manchester derby, Keane went on a high and strong tackle on Haaland, who joined City from Leeds, injuring him in the knee.

Haaland was immediately substituted and that was the end of his career as he later retired following the injury.
