Estonian slackliner Jaan Roose walks on rope across a bridge and train tracks in Lagos
An Estonian slackliner identified as Jaan Roose has taken Nigerians by surprise after he was spotted walking on a rope across a bridge and train tracks in Lagos State. He was seen holding a Nigerian flag and a drone was in place to capture every step he took. Reports show that he started on the rooftop of Sterling Bank at Marina. On Ajetunmobi Ridwan Olawale, the Senior Special Assistant on Media to the Lagos state governor said all of this was a tightrope stunt by Roose. He did it to break a Guinness World Record and rumor has it that he was brought into Lagos by Red Bull, an energy drink company.
A slackliner is an act of walking, running, or balancing on a rope that is stretched above the ground between two points. This is a sport that requires one to be extremely careful to prevent stories that touch. Can you ever try it?
